Ruth Clark was born in Grand Haven Michigan. She was raised in a Christian home and as a teen, Ruth was very active in her youth group. Ruth has two brothers, Paul and Bob. Paul Clark serves as an Assemblies of God Missionary in Germany. Ruth holds two BA's from North Central University in Minneapolis Minnesota. One degree in Bible and Missions, the other in Elementary Education. Ruth also holds and MA in Cross Cultural Communications from the Assemblies of God Theological Seminary, in Springfield, Missouri.
Through the years Ruth’s love for teaching children has been displayed as she taught Sunday School, Children’s Church and was involved in many evangelistic outreaches in the US and in Europe. Ruth has also been a Day Care Teacher and Director for nearly ten years.
Ruth served on several short-term Missions assignments in the Philippines for more than seven years. In 1999, Ruth received full Missions Appointment with the Assemblies of God U.S.A.
Currently, Ruth is involved in conducting Teachers Training Seminars for church workers and pastors. Through this ministry,many lives are encouraged and challenged to reach out to children. As Ruth and her team teach, they share simple and inexpensive ways to minister to children. After many seminars, a Kid’s Crusade is conducted in order to give seminar participants experience in conducting future crusade for children.
Raising up Christian teachers who are trained and equipped to reach their children is vital if we want the church of Jesus Christ to grow. Ruth is also involved in teaching Christian Education classes at Assemblies of God Bible Schools throughout the Philippines.
